Annelise Fox

Raised on the east coast, Annelise Fox spent her youth splashing in wetlands and losing herself in fantasy novels. Unable to find a portal to another world or uncover secret magical powers, she nonetheless embarked on an adventure west, eventually settling with her family and cats in the foothills of Colorado. Today, she crafts vibrant tales that weave together magic, nature, and spirited characters who often defy their creator. When she isn’t corralling these unruly protagonists into her latest manuscript, she enjoys D&D campaigns with her friends, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and filling her shelves with books faster than she can read them. Her passion for storytelling is fueled by a love for the fantastic and the wild.
